Being inspired by friends

Hey Everyone,

So until we get the shop up and running and our patterns finalized, Jennifer Jane and I will be posting with projects we worked on ourselves or just what inspires us to create.

A friend of mine is getting married soon, and I wanted to make her something special. I did a craft project a while back and experimented with felted silhouettes. For this pillow I applied this idea, but also stitched all of her, and her fiances fly aways. I feel like these things are what make them who they are, and look whimsical. I also picked a canvas fabric with a more modern pattern on it to kind of offset the traditional portraits. My friend loved the pillow! I hope to make more like it in the future.
